June 23rd Reunion

Okay...plans are underway for the reunion to be held at Park Junior High School! It will be Saturday, June 23rd starting around 11:30 and lasting until around 4 or 5 pm. The building is now condominiums but some of the gracious owners are allowing tours through the units. There are a total of 41 units in the building. Several of us went there on Tuesday, April 17th and walked the area to see how to plan everything. The food will be catered and set up outside in the back of the building (unless it rains and then it will be held in the old gym, which looks exactly the same). The courtyard is open also...remember the school is built in a square with the courtyard in the center but we were never allowed to go into the area then. It is beautiful. The unit we toured on Tuesday is absolutely beautiful, it is the old office and the Principals office and a couple of more rooms. I loved going through it and even though it is different, it still looks the same and brings back a lot of memories. Try to attend this one even if you haven't come to any of the others, this will be so special.
We thank John and Cynthia Stancil for arranging this for us and being a big part of us now. Even though they did not grow up in Park City, they live there now on Washington Avenue in Judge Pollard's old house.
